Winter Wonderland

Make your own snow!!! Mix 3 cups of baking soda and 1 cup of conditioner. It's that easy!

Winter, Winter Song
(To the tune of 'Twinkle, Twinkle')
Winter, winter, look and see
All the changes around me.
Plants are sleeping; trees are bare.
Frosty mornings, chilly air
Winter, winter, look and see
All the changes around me.

To explore how temperature affects ice and turns it to water, we used our own special ice cube paintbrush. As we pushed the ice on the paper, the friction and room temperature caused the ice to melt. As it melted it mixed with the powder tempera paint, it turned to liquid paint.

Snowman name practice
(We had to add Frozen stickers from the Dollar Tree.)

We created this cool snowman with a mixture of equal parts shaving cream and liquid glue and added buttons when it dried.
